About Me:
I’m Liezl van Wyk, an educator and instructional designer with 16 years of experience across South Africa and China. I currently teach at a British international school while completing my graduate studies in instructional design.
I know what it is like to balance work, life, and online learning, and I hope to create a course where you feel supported, connected, and confident enough to ask questions.
My Teaching Philosophy:
Learning should feel purposeful, human and engaging. I believe strong learning communities are built when we learn with one another, not simply next to one another.
Outside the Classroom:
When I’m not teaching or designing learning experiences, you might find me:

Trying new foods and discovering local flavors

Spending time with my husband and our two French Bulldogs

My role is to guide, encourage, and help you grow throughout the course.
